So in 1997, Richemont buys out Panerai leaving Italian watchmakers
with nothing to do. Enter Anonimo.
Producing only about 3,500 per year, this piece is a stunning
beast, and rare! It is less than a year old purchased from an
AD in Montreal.
It features two complete and separate ETA 2678 movements, both
keeping time spot on of each other.
Make no mistake about it, this watch is not for the faint of
heart, it is a beast. At 44mm., it is big, Panerai big. It has
the 'Kodiak' strap, "Our patented Kodiak process allows water to pass through the leather. Strap can be worn in fresh or seawater without damage to the leather". 120m. water-resist.

* Movement: Two automatic movements, caliber ANONIMO 02.1 on base ETA 2678 7 3/4". 25 jewels, soigné finish, adjusted 4 positions, 28.800 A/h (4 Hz.), Etachron balance. Power reserve 38 hours. The two movements are independent in function.
* Functions: Sub dial for the local hour at 6: functions of hours, minutes, date windows at 6, day window at 3. Sub dial for the second hour or GMT at 12: functions of hours, minutes, date window at 12. The Dual Time functions are completely independent in hours, minutes including dates.
* Watch Case: Sandblasted and satinated AISI 316 Plus stainless steel. Diameter mm. 43.40. Screw locked bezel, screw locked exhibition back with sapphire crystal. Superior sapphire crystal. Patented crown vanishing locking device (integrated with watch strap) protects the double crown both at 6 and at 12.
* Dial: Extra thick manufactured dial with hours indexes treated with Superluminova luminous coating for superior day/night readability
* Water Resistance: 12 ATM
* Hand-finished, patented Kodiak waterproof calfskin strap, allows for extended immersion in fresh and sea water.
