Up for sale is the perfect all-around, all-occasion, classy timepiece, the Cartier Santos de Cartier (blue dial, large size, steel). It is a design icon that looks just as good with a suit as it does with a t-shirt. With a modern 39.8mm case, it offers presence while remaining exceptionally thin (9.3mm) and wraps around the wrist like no other sports watch. The blue sunburst dial is a mesmerizing, shifting from a deep midnight to a vibrant cobalt depending on the lighting.
- Box, Papers, Warranty: Set includes the inner Cartier box, original purchase receipt and official registration papers. This piece was originally purchased from the Cartier Boutique in Beverly Hills in November 2019. The papers show it is fully registered with Cartier Care and under extended manufacture warranty until November 11, 2027. Note: This set does not include the outer box or plastic warranty card that I’ve seen with other Carter sets.
- Straps & Accessories: The set includes the steel bracelet (sized for a 6.5" wrist and includes 4 extra links). It also includes the OEM navy blue calfskin strap, the original Cartier steel deployant buckle, and quick release tool. Note that the calfskin strap shows signs of delamination at one end. Cartier offers a Leather Care/ Restoration service to revive their leather goods.
- Condition: The watch, bracelet, and deployant clasp are in pristine condition and have been very well taken care of. The high-polish bezel is incredibly clean and I can only find a few minor hairline scratches on it. The watch is running well and keeping good time.
