Up for sale is a 1968 gold plated Omega Deville chronograph watch with the 861 manual wind caliber. The watch measures approximately 36mm across, not including the crown or the pushers. It is currently fitted with an after market dark brown leather strap with an original Omega pin buckle.
I bought this watch about 3 years ago from a well respected watch forum member thinking that I would like to have a vintage watch in my collection (I have since realized that vintage watches aren't my cup of tea). The watch was serviced just before I bought it from the previous owner and it is running well. Please keep in mind that this is a vintage watch so it is not as precise as a modern-day Omega certified chronometer watch. The chronograph starts, stops, and resets and it should.
The case shows some markings and discolouration as evidenced in the photos below. I would consider this normal for a watch that is older than me.
Selling price is $1500.00 net to me and includes shipping across Canada.
