OTHER COMMENTS: This is perhaps the rarest watch ever offered on the CWC.

This watch runs great, Every feature works properly, all setting pins work properly and the watch keeps time to spec. The watch is part of a Limited edition of 16 all made for the same customer who gave them out to his senior employees as a Christmas bonus. I received the watch from the owner of the company back in the late 1990’s and has been with one of my customers ever since. The watch was serviced sometime in the early 2000’s and has not been polished to my knowledge. This is perhaps the smallest limited edition AP RO they have ever produced. 16 total watches were done in this series. This watch is number 16. The last in the series!

Another sample of this watch is being auctioned May 6th at the 50th anniversary of the Audemars Royal Oak Auction by Phillips Auction house. According to Douglas Escribano, he estimates it will go over the high end estimate of 240,000 swiss francs plus the 25% hammer. Considering the watch at a bid of 240,000 swiss francs, this would be $403,000 Canadian! before shipping and import duties!
