Piano box with Patek Philippe polish cloth to protect the finish. Extra dial and hands. The second dial is silver in colour and is currently installed on the watch. A second set of archival papers showing the 2nd dial is also included.
OTHER COMMENTS: Discontinued and in high demand…. This is the in house, perpetual chronograph that replaced the 3970P.

Rare of Rare Patek Philippe Perpetual Chronograph Platinum 5970P Complete Canadian Package!
Not only is this a really rare and top of the heap quality piece. This particular watch comes with 2 different dials, the second installed at Patek Philippe with Paperwork to back it up.
The 5970P came only with the dark anthracite dial…. This dark grey dial was a challenge for the only owner of this watch to read. He contacted Patek and they said send the watch back to them through his authorized dealer (Humbertown in Toronto) and the watch came back with a new dial and hands installed along with the original dial and hands as well. The archival papers state the silver coloured dial. The original papers state the anthracite coloured dial.
So here is the deal. This watch is near mint to mint. It comes with an OEM extra strap, and an extra OEM tang buckle along with the original dial and hands. The silver coloured dial along with the new hands are installed on the watch currently. This watch is perhaps a one of a kind with the silver dial and it is the nicest Patek I have seen….. Period. These watches are selling at the $300K plus level in this kind of shape without the extras…. Also being perhaps a one of a kind and other 5970’s with different colour dials have sold in the $600K range. They are really rare!
I will offer this watch for $350K FIRM. If you are serious about this watch, we can arrange for a showing of the watch. This certainly is a major investment in a serious watch!

I have been playing around with backgrounds and the light box trying to get the best possible photos…. The green back drop makes an interesting look but I’m not exactly thrilled. The pictures do tell the story of the condition of this watch regardless of the background.
