Hey folks
Up for grabs is one of my favourite and most easy wearing Breitlings, the reference AB0176
The Top Time lineup is heavily vintage inspired in its case design and bicompax layout though with an ice blue dial that is nothing short of artisanal with its “Zorro” design motif, it has a foot in the modern era as well.
The watch was produced in collaboration with motorcycle company Triumph and the ice blue dial is of notable relevance to both companies; a blue Triumph Thunderbird 6T from 1951 and a rare ice-blue Breitling Top Time Ref. 815
There is adequate lume on the handset and on the outboard tachymeter between the 95-70 markers
The watch measures at 41mm with a 13.3mm thickness and a lug to lug of 50.3mm, sitting just right on my 7.3” wrist
In overall excellent condition, there is a small fleabite to the underside of the bottom right lug that can be seen from the side and a hair sized one on the inside of the upper right lug with some minor wear to the on crown case side. The AR coating on the curved portion of the crystal near 1 has some marks to it.
The strap is thick, soft and well made in a fashion similar to that of motorcycle gloves and features a distressed look as well.
The watch runs like a champ at 0s/day and as with in house movements, this one comes with an extensive 7 year warranty to 2031
The watch come as a full set with box, card and manual integration
Retail is a staggering $9550+ tax
I’m asking essentially 40% off at $5895 shipped from the GTA
