Up for grabs I have my Breitling Superocean, ref A17378211B1A1.
This generation is a reimagiantion of the “Slow Motion” series of Superocean series.
This model is likely one of my favourites of the modern iterations as it differs ever so slightly as compared to the ones of the same generation as it features a patented bezel lock system at 9 and a bidirectional ratcheting 60 click bezel, which is as robust an actuation I’ve encountered from Breitling or any brand for that matter.
The quick adjust clasp will allow you to swap the watch on a daily basis with your smaller wristed significant other given the amount of leeway it provides.
The dual sided AR coating, that seemingly makes the crystal disappear is done well as can be expected and the lack of a counterbalance on the red tipped seconds hand makes for a clearer readout.
The chamfers on the lugs provide a more svelte aesthetic to the case and Breitling clearly has paid attention to the minute details on this timepiece, for the better.
300m water resistance rating seems like overkill, but there you have it, the watch will last deeper than you will.
Included in the package is the the watch, box, and warranty card. All links are attached.
The watch is in near mint condition with some stickers still attached. I noted a faint hairline on one or two of the polished centre links, but they’re easy to miss given how minor their are.
At $6600 retail, it certainly does lean on the heavier side of affordable, however at my ask of $4444, it’s more akin to a bargain.
