Hey folks

Up for grabs I have a rare find this side of the border and what can only describe as uncommon, unique, funky and terribly fun.

The Revival series from Zenith is a throwback to their vintage offerings and paired on the ladder bracelet, wears incomparably, though just as well on a quality leather, bear in mind the 19mm lug width

This is the Ref. 95.L384.400/50.M384 that is limited to a worldwide 250 pieces, a true limited edition and comes in a 37mm (bear in mind Tonneau style cases don’t wear the same as round cases and this fits more like a 38)

The watch being entirely titanium is light and very vintage like and as a result shows some, but minimal signs of wear on a couple of the polished bits by means of hairlines, a small area near 4 o clock on the case that has a mm portion of wear and a few bracelet links and some portions of the clasp.

The true masterpiece of this watch aside from this venerable cal 400 movement is the dial layout and the tasteful yet classy colour palette.

This is the third instalment of the Lupin character inspired watches, with the dial being a literally split of the initial Shadow version and the second Liberty version.

The minuscule nuances on this dial create a feast for the eyes, one that will cause you to lose attention when looking down for the time.

The writing on the black portion of the dial is set in gilt, with the minute track reflecting the same tone, as does the markers, subseconds hand and hour/minute handset. The tachymetre scale on the black section is set in grey and echoes the sub seconds dial.

The off white segment of the dial in turn features extends into the tachymetre scale, featuring black subdials and similarly echoed black printing for the minute track, along with a black date wheel that stands in stark contrast with the white, for added legibility.

The faux patina on the hands and markers are just the cherry on top.

One would think, a watch this busy would be garish and unbalanced, yet Zenith in all their wisdom have knocked this out of the park and given us a pretty Zen timepiece.

The high beat 36,000 VPH glide of the chrono hand is a sight to behold and the sound when held up to your ear is enough to get your heart racing.

At retail, the watch was approximately $10,500 USD, I’m asking $12499 CAD shipped, $200 off if f2f GTA (it’s a big box)

The watch comes as a full with extra link, manuals, warranty card (undated unstamped), tag and travel case.IMG_8306.jpegIMG_8307.jpegIMG_8309.jpegIMG_8310.jpegIMG_8312.jpegIMG_8318.jpegIMG_8314.jpegIMG_8335.jpegIMG_8324.jpegIMG_8305.jpegIMG_8609.jpegIMG_8610.jpeg
