Hey folks
Up for grabs is a GS that we are hard pressed to find in the western hemisphere.
The Mt Fuji is a China market exclusive and features a textured green dial similar to the SBGA211.
The watch is limited to 500 pieces and comes on both a green GS leather and an unused GS bracelet with full links.
The dial is offset with a gold tone GS emblem and gold tone sweeping seconds hand.
Mt Fuji being the highest mountain in Japan and second largest volcano in Asia, it holds a special place in Japanese culture and translates to “without equal or parallel”, something this model aims to achieve.
Powering the watch is the 9R65 Spring Drive movement.
The watch presents well on my 7.5” wrist at 40mm and will suit most wrists 6.75” and larger.
Overall condition is very good with some Minor hairlines to the case sides and more so near the lug holes.
The watch comes as a full set, with warranty until 2027, confirmed via GS.
Being a China market exclusive, their warranty is typically had via a barcode that scans through WeChat. Email from GS Canada confirms the warranty on the timepiece
Closest comparables are north of $6500, I’m asking a very fair and reasonable $5750 in the GTA
