Up today I have a value proposition for those looking for something of a throwback to vintage datejusts with engine turned bezel or a lower entry point to the Rolex Day Date
This 41mm reference M28600-0005 is very attractive and captivating on wrist having seen it out in the wild on enthusiasts wrists and it looked absolutely spectacular.
The blue dial takes on different hues based on lighting/angles and is likely one of my favourite blue dials, bar none.
If you’re looking for a watch that looks the part while at the office, on date night, or while taking the dog out for a walk, this is the blue dial piece that can pretty much do it all, but with some panache.
There are superficial signs of wear to the bracelet near where the links meet the clasp. The case side has a scratch on the crown side above the crown.
Other than that the watch runs, winds, sets as it should with date change snapping near the midnight hour as it should; accuracy is at 0s a day per my timegrapher.
The watch comes as a full kit and retails at $2980+ local tax.
Warranty on this piece remains till 2025.
