Up for grabs is my very gently worn PAM00233.
The quintessential Panerai that does pretty much anything you would want from a watch, I had to own one at some point and after trying out a multitude of Panerai over the years, this is the one I settled on as THE one.
However, the fickleness of this hobby dictates that I sell this piece to make way for my next Pam and I have a one watch per brand rule.
The watch comes as a full kit, double boxed and with everything you’d need and more.
These models rarely come up for sale and seldom in this condition, let alone with warranty until 2028.
Included in the package is the OEM leather and rubber strap and an aftermarket purple strap for those who could use a little more oomph than the standard Panerai offers.
The P2002 movement under promises and over delivers with a touted 8 day power reserve that yields a real world circa 10 day generation.
Accuracy wise, the watch has stayed within a few seconds in the 10 days of running and after a few months only deviated by a minute.
The domed sapphire crystsl screams vintage throwback while supported by its inherent toughness.
A GMT function with the AM/PM indicator and a “there when you need it, gone when you don’t” GMT hand, ensures functionality and finesse.
A sandwich dial, date and exhibition caseback to showcase the tastefully finished P2002 movement, ties this entire package up in a rather desirable one watch Panerai collection.
