SUPER SPONSOR
Hey folks
Up for grabs is a robust, stylish and unique GMT Spring Drive offering from GS.
Coming in at 44mm in diameter, 50.8mm lug to lug, 14.7mm in thickness and 21mm lug width, it seems to be leaning to the larger side, yet the bowl shaped case of the SBGE201 allows it to appear large when off wrist, but wear like a 42mm timepiece when on wrist.
At a time when ceramic bezels are ubiquitous, it’s refreshing to see a sapphire bezel insert on a higher level luxury watch, that isn’t a micro brand.
Throw in lumed 24 hour markings, and you’re now covered on pretty much all bases for a functional GMT timepiece.
The rotating bezel paired with the GMT hand and Hour hand, allows for a potential tracking of 3 simultaneous time zones; not unique to the brand, but consider the overall value here. AR coating to the inner crystal adds some welcome legibility to the dial at most angles
The watch comes as a full kit with 13 links and 2 half links. 1 of the links is missing the screws, so this should essentially fit a 7.9” wrist perfectly.
Overall condition is very good given the age with some hairlines to the case side, bracelet and a rough spot on one of the lugs
Warranty remains until December 2025
Retail is $8800 plus tax
I’m asking $4799 in the GTA
