Kurteti
SUPER SPONSOR
Hey folks
Up for grabs is a rarely seen PAM692.
Fast becoming one of my favourite submersibles yet, it has an otherworldly wrist presence, a blue dial that needs to be seen to be appreciated and a lightweightedness that would have you thinking it’s Titanium, when it’s really BMG Tech
What the tech am I talking about? Bulk metallic glass, as Panerai so likes to play with materials, is a metal alloy with an amorphous vs crystalline structure. This allows for fewer surface imperfections in the base material, 2-3 times stronger, more scratch resistant, lighter in weight, tougher in rigidity, and more corrosion resistant, than steel.
The material is basically the reason this watch, now about 7 years old, still looks like it just left the showroom.
The case back is in titanium, as is rather common in pieces featuring alternate materials for the case.
Included in the package is the 2 straps original to the watch, the black leather and rubber.
Also included is an OEM Camo, and an AM white, which is almost more supple and pliant than the OEM.
The watch is as full set as one could want, including the screw driver, bezel protector, triple box, original papers, warranty, manual, and service receipt
The watch received a full service in 2024.
Retail when available was $16,800
I’m asking $9850 in the GTA for this example.
