Hey folks
Up for grabs is my Paradropper in titanium.
At a sub 3k price point, I’ve not encountered a chronograph that features a titanium case with DLC plating and ceramic bezel insert.
A bit of backstory on this example - The Paradropper was created for pilots of the Swiss Air Force's Lufttransport Staffel 7, which transports paratroopers to a drop zone, the timings of which are crucial allowing pilots 20 minutes from take-off to the moment when the paratroopers jump, simultaneously synchronizing with other planes on the same missions.
That’s where the lumed bidirectional bezel comes into play; Y signifying take position, the Yellow marker a 3 minute warning, the red marker for clearance to open the doors and the parachute signifying clearance to jump; most of us will use this to time bathroom or smoke breaks, but still, cool to know and have.
There are a few other marking of note that would be useful to these Paradropper Pilots, but I’ll link that Here.
At 44mm, the watch wears comfortably on my 7.3” wrist, owed in no small part to the titanium case and the textile type strap, but would recommend for wrists as low at 6.8”
Lug to lug is 49.7 and thickness is 15mm.
The watch comes as a full set with everything pictured and is in overall mint condition, with the only signs of wear to the strap with some minimal fraying and runs at approximately +7s/day
Retail pricing is $5100
I’m asking over 60% off at $1799 shipped from the GTA
