The 251 features all the elements that make a Grand Seiko, throwing in a healthy dose of value for what you get.
The watch comes in at 37mm with a 13.5mm thickness and a 44mm lug to lug, wearing larger than the measurements dictate due to the male end links and similar to a 39mm Explorer.
The silver sunburst dial is exquisite and features the brands Zaratsu polished hands, markers and case.
The 9S65 automatic movement features a 72 hr power reserve and runs very well and within spec at -3s/day.
The watch is in overall excellent condition and far superior in comparison to 1 year old timepieces I’ve encountered, with minor hairlines on the bracelet and similarly to the case.
This example is complete with the guarantee booklet, warranty paper, and manual.
A viable entry into GS that offers an automatic movement as opposed to other Quartz models at a similar price point.
Currently sized for my 7.3” wrist, it features 2 extra links (13 full links + 2 half links).
