This is the original and first version of the Darth Tuna.
Hailing from the original tuna design of the 6159-7010 this model is powered by the 7C46 high torque movement
A further improvement from the original tuna, this watch is rated to 1000m and features a ceramic shroud instead of the common steel or dlc coated applications over titanium.
A nod to the grandfather tuna, the handset on the SBBN011 is nearly identical to the original, with current models housing more of the “prospex” abundant arrow handset.
The more restrained dial on the 011 will appease most purists as opposed to the current gen models that favour a plethora of text ok the dial
At 49mm it might seem like a large watch but owing to the tapered angle of the case bottom-up and a relatively lugless design, it wears and feels more like a 42/43mm watch’s
The watch just had a battery replacement from my watchmaker and was given bill of health.
Aesthetically the watch is in near mint condition with some signs of use on the shroud bolts and the original rubber strap.
Included is an aftermarket bracelet that is equally as unique as the watch itself.
