Greetings CWC.
Today I'm offering my 1981 all original Rolex 16750.
This is a cash sale only.
To get the trivial stuff out of the way right out of the gate.... rather than post an iknowwhatihavebro price and go back and forth, I am selling this extra clean example for $17000.00 Firm.
I've worn it 3x this year. Thats it. Been on the winder and not lost even a minute.
Date changes exactly at 00:00hrs
All the particulars you need to know:
• 1981 Rolex Pepsi GMT-Master
• Ref. 16750, 6.6M serial
• Matte tritium dial, markers uniformly patinaed w/ matching patinae hand inserts
• Bezel insert w/ “red” underside, i.e. original factory insert, not ‘blue’ underside service insert; shows 43 years of beautiful character, including scratches and dings consistent with regular usage.
• Dedicated "GMT-Master Jubilee" 62510H, F-code, 1981, “50/550” end-links, made by Rolex for this model GMT-Master exclusively to accommodate a larger, 2mm (vs 1.8mm) spring bar. Also shows very little stretch for its age
• Crystal clear/unblemished
• Rolex 16750-stamped outer box & corresponding inner box and red seal;1981 GMT-Master booklet
• Cdn. Rolex AD Service Card 08/09/22. Movement-only service, with preservation of all non-movement-related parts, dial, hands, etc. which are original to the watch
I have a video taken today that shows swirls and hairlines, please send me a DM and I'll forward it to you.
All the risk of buying a dumpster fire vintage piece from a flipper - gone. I did my homework before buying...... I only offer it up because I wear my BLRO. (For no sane reason)
Again, no trades please.
$17000 is the number. Shipping is at your expense fully insured on my or your label.
Face to face in Ottawa also happy to facilitate.
Thanks for looking.
